"Thank you again for your expert and timely production of the 100-inch diameter panel for BLaser, our newest laser engraving system. The honeycomb panel looks and works even better than we had anticipated!
I remember the difficulty we had finding anyone who could supply us with such a large-diameter, thin (1 inch), strong one-piece panel. We pursued several avenues, including paper- and wood-core door manufacturers, and aerospace contractors without success. We were told our design could not be built a) on time, b) in one piece, c) to meet strength, flatness or dimensional requirements, or d) at a reasonable price.
I finally found Paneltec's name in Thomas Register, and was delighted by your affable support for, and helpful interest in, my dilemma. Your resourceful advice ... for the panel skins solved our strength and one-piece-design problem; I also appreciate the diligence that you and Elaine displayed in finding a carrier to deliver the "oversize" finished product.
