Solar Concentrator Panels ~ Sandia National Laboratories

We are involved with Sandia National Laboratories in developing solar concentrator panels for commercial use. These panels must hold a precise shape and withstand severe environmental conditions. In the photo, we are crating trough facets for shipment to a test site in California.

This dish is arrayed with 32 parabolic facets made by Paneltec Corporation. The facets have a compound curvature and extraordinary optical accuracy. The system is in long-term testing at Sandia National Laboratories.
