This mobile microwave antenna was designed by
scientists at NCAR’s Boulder, Colorado, labs. It chases storms
to get an inside look at tornados and other extreme weather phenomena.
Our panel is the base plate for a complex antenna. Eight feet square
and only one-half inch thick, featuring over 200 potted inserts,
it holds steady under high windloads.
